The new trend must be this faux-one-shoulder look. The dress was a pretty cream color but didn't feel right for the day.
This dress was almost the one... I even put it on hold as we walked around the rest of the day but decided against wearing white. I only want my wedding dress in October to be white. The cut was adorable, though and I LOVE a dress with pockets!
I was goofing off in this one because I felt like a bridesmaid or Homecoming Queen rather than a bride.
This was another perfect fit, besides the color. I just couldn't get over black reminding me of the office or a funeral. If I could find this exact dress in a print or spring color, I'd be so happy!
I'm totally digging the dresses with pockets. you look beautiful in all of them, but i really like the last, black one. but...you're right, you may want something less...funeralesque.

Agreed, pockets for the win. But I also thought the black one looked a little like you're a lawyer at the courthouse, not a bride.
ReplyDeleteDare I say thrift store/vintage shop? There's a pretty good one in Towson called Ten Car Pile-Up. Also, the skinny-mini French teacher at my work goes to Plato's Closet (http://www.platoscloset.com/index.html)every payday and she always looks fabulous.
Lastly, J.Crew's website has some lovely dresses in their sale section right now.
Love the pockets!
ReplyDeleteI know nothing about fashion, but the dress with pockets (both the white and black version) suits you well:) I'm sure you'll find something you love almost as much as Rose if you keep looking;) Good luck with your search for something springlike/in print...Peace n love.
